Artist Showcase: Google's World by Alejo Malia

Google's World is a great little illustration project by Spanish artist Alejo Malia. The series illustrates what the world would look like if what we see on Google maps were what we see in real life.

I've seen a few different projects similar to this one but none that have quite matched Alejo's sense of humour.

I love these Ladyhawke drawings by Russian artist Alexandra Dolgopolova. The style is quite reminiscent of one of my favourite artists to have been featured on the blog, Andreas Preis.
