Character Design - Colourful Postcards

In this day and age of instantaneous communication, snail-mail has become almost redundant. To my mind, this is a real shame because really, is there anything nicer than getting something through the post that isn't a bill or the new menu from the local indian?

This lead me to design my own little range of postcards that I could send off to my loved ones for no real reason other than to let them know that I am thinking of them. I set about designing a cute little character that I retraced on my mac, and then put him on super simple, super vibrant backgrounds.
