Monday Moodboard-Inspiring me this week : 24.10.11

This week's moodboard includes entire books on posters, chopstick trees and a very smart Rubik's cube.

1. Spineless Classics
Shared on our Facebook page by our good friend Jo Pilgrim-Wood, this collection of posters is absolutely stunning. The idea is that they feature an entire book, that's right I said an ENTIRE book, on a poster, wrapped in the shape of an image from the book.

2. Beer Packaging
We already know that I'm a sucker for great packaging... and beer... so here's this is another prime example of how packaging makes all the difference.

3. Minimal Logo Designs
A great round-up of some inventive and very clever logos.

4. Shopping Trolley Lounge Chair
Just a very funny project, though I am not convinced that this chair would be even the slightest bit comfortable.

5. Free Seamless Patterns
A great round-up of downloadable seamless patterns.

6. Birthday Match-book and Candle
The happy birthday box, just scribble in the right age an you're good to go.

7. Chopstick tree
This is a set of chopsticks with a difference. One has a capped tip containing a seed, and when you have finished eating you stick it in the ground and hey presto, you just planted a tree.

8. Bic Drawings
That's right, this amazing sketch is done using a bic, perhaps one of the cheapest pens around, and there are plenty more amazing drawings where that came from.

9. Braille Rubik's Cube
The 'colours' (green, blue, red, yellow, white & pink) of each cube are embossed upon it in Braille and the all over effect is a very nice, very chic Rubik's cube.
